Mark your calendars for Lawrence Bicycle Club’s 2019 Lizard Under the Skillet, a hot day of supported road cycling on Sunday, July 14, 2019. Riders may start any time between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. from Broken Arrow Park, 2800 Louisiana St. in Lawrence – no mass start – and the course closes at 3 p.m. Plan to stick around and celebrate afterward with a cool, sweet treat from Cold Stone Creamery (10 a.m. – 3 p.m.) as part of your paid registration.
Register now and reserve your spot to ride! $25 early registration through July 1; $30 after July 1 or on the day of the ride. 2019 Lizard t-shirts available online ($10) through July 1; $15 during the event while supplies last.
On-site registration and check-in for registered riders will be available Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. at Cycle Works, 2121 Kasold Dr., or on the day of the ride, Sunday, July 14, from 6–8 a.m., at Broken Arrow Park, 2800 Louisiana St.
This year’s route will include our usual 30-, 40- and 60-mile (metric century) options, plus a bonus 50-mile option. All routes are on paved roads. LBC will provide SAG stops on all routes. Registered riders will receive an email with details about the route after online registrations closes.
