Community Support Funding

In 2026, LBC plans to continue our partnership with The Boys and Girls Club of Lawrence and our local bike shops to provide bikes and helmets to kids in the community. More than 70 new and pre-owned bikes have been procured and donated in the past 3 years. Please consider making a donation to this fund so more kids can enjoy the health benefits of riding a bike. Please note LBC is a 501(c)(7) organization and contributions are not tax deductible.

Your contribution will further enable LBC to support organizations including The Community Bike Ride, National Intercollegiate Cycling Association (NICA), the Lawrence Mountain Bike Club, and the Lawrence Triathlon Club. Other events promoting cycling in Lawrence and Douglas County may also receive support from the club via this fund. Please note LBC is a 501(c)(7) organization and contributions are not tax deductible.
