Welcome to the Lawrence Bicycle Club!

If you are new to cycling and just discovering our page, Welcome! The Lawrence Bicycle Club (LBC) is an organization representing cyclists from Lawrence, KS and surrounding communities. We have an enthusiastic group of cyclists in this community including road, gravel, and off-road cyclists, ranging from beginner to expert. The LBC supports riders of all abilities. At the Lawrence Bike Club, we strive to ensure our membership is as diverse and inclusive as possible. We want all individuals to feel welcome and appreciated, therefore we commit to celebrating diversity, ensuring inclusion and working toward equity in all we do. Click here for LBC Bylaws

The Lawrence Bicycle Club is a 501c7 organization. LBC ride fees and annual membership dues support cycling in many important ways. As part of our mission, we promote cycling events, support improvements in cycling infrastructure, advocate for regulations to make cycling safer, and help increase cycling awareness in the community. We donate to organizations that improve cycling in the community, such as Black Girls Do Bike, Friends of Lawrence Area Trails, and the Lawrence Mountain Bike Club.

Non-Member Participation

A non-member may participate in a single club ride listed on the LBC website according to the following guidelines:

· Non-members are required to E-sign a liability waiver found on the website. This can be done at home prior to the ride or at the start of the ride on a smart phone.

· Non-members are covered by LBC insurance for this single ride only.

AFTER THEIR ONE SINGLE RIDE, AS A NON-MEMBER, A RIDER MAY NOT PARTICIPATE IN ANOTHER CLUB RIDE UNTIL THEY BECOME A MEMBER.
