Smell The Roses

Ride start time is 6:30pm leaving from Constant Park (230 W 6th Street Lawrence, KS 66044)

Please plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the start time. Ride includes water breaks as needed and a short rest break(s).

Weekly Rides are for club members only. A non-member may participate in one free ride before joining and must prior to the ride, sign a "non-member one ride waiver" found in the drop down options once clicking New Member Signup on the home page.

PLEASE NOTE: Ride leaders have the discretion to cancel/delay/change start times to account for temperature/weather conditions. These updates are these sent out via the LBC Chainrings forum. Members are automatically opted in to have posts forwarded to their email. If you have unsubscribed from having posts sent to you, you can log into your LBC account to check forum posts.  

This ride is for current LBC members. Please make sure your membership is up-to-date. If you bring a nonmember friend, please arrive early for waiver signing.

Helmets are required, front and rear lights are highly recommended and required once the days get short. Headsets/airpods are prohibited, and please carry identification and emergency contact information.

This social paced ride heads north and west of Lawrence toward Lakeview Lake, offering a fairly flat route for those who stay on the paved out-and-back portion of the ride. The ride usually averages 12-14 mph for 15 miles. Bring your wider-tired bike if you’re inclined because when the pavement ends between Lawrence and Lecompton, some riders may take the gravel for the second half of the ride. This ride is a no drop ride. We never leave anyone behind. Ends with a visit to a local restaurant for dinner and conversation.
